Important Applicant Considerations for 2024-2025 School Year
- Click here for Application Information Handout
- A MS degree is required to become a registered dietitian/nutritionist - this MS degree can be in anything.
- Many programs - dietetic internships, grad schools, and combination MSDI or Graduate Programs may require earlier applications than in previous years.
- There is no longer a "match" for dietetic internship or combined MSDI or Masters with Dietetic Internship programs.
- If a dietetic internship participates in DICAS (a centralized application portal), they must notify applicants of their acceptance to the program by March 1st 2025.
- If you apply to a dietetic internship program through DICAS and they accept you, they will expect a response to your acceptance by March 15th, 2025
- If a program (internship or graduate school) does not use DICAS they do not have to abide by the above dates.
- It is possible that programs and schools who do or do not use DICAS may notify you earlier than the March 1st, 2025 deadline, and you may reply to them with your acceptance or declination of their offer
