CAFES/FSN Student Ambassadors

The Mission of the CAFES Ambassadors

The CAFES Ambassadors is a college-wide student organization whose purpose is to act as a public relations branch for the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences (CAFES). The 2023-24 academic year will be the 35th year the organization has worked to promote higher education, agriculture, and Cal Poly to prospective students. The CAFES Ambassadors have been a positive influence on the quantity as well as the quality of applicants admitted to CAFES.

The three-pronged mission of the CAFES Ambassadors is to:

  • Encourage high school and junior college students to pursue a higher education
  • Cultivate individuals in their pursuit of agriculture as a career and a lifestyle
  • Sharing the multitude of opportunities Cal Poly's College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences offers

Through personal experiences, the CAFES Ambassadors promote these three ideals throughout California and the United States.
