www.newtritioncounseling.com
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and counsel clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia and exercise addiction. I also offer weight management and nutrition therapy for a variety of clinical conditions. Some of what I do includes individual and group dietetic counseling and nutrition education, creating meal plans, treatment planning, and coordination of services between patient support systems which entail therapists, physicians, psychiatrists and families. I speak on the topic of disordered eating in the community and consult for obesity prevention programs.

My goal is to guide clients to make choices that will support their health and their true Selves rather than the eating disorder. The most rewarding aspect of my work is to see clients gain freedom from the bondage of their disorder and lead full and rewarding lifes. I truly love my job!

Why she recommends Cal Poly's Food Science and Nutrition Department

"My experience at Cal Poly was truly a valuable and rewarding one. What makes this department so special is both the hands-on, 'learn-by-doing' approach and the professors in particular. They are engaging, compassionate, offer a wealth of real-life experience, take an authentic interest in their students and are easy to relate to. This combination created an environment for me that fostered comfort and supported my curiosity to learn. Anyone considering this school and this department specifically will surely have a lot to gain in their educational experience."
